Created in 1988. Made from poplar, cypress, and possibly Caribbean mahognany found on the beach. The image shows the life and death cycle of the sea turtle. Our home in Brevard County is one of the premier nesting sites of loggerhead turtles. Larger Side View

I was looking at a picture of an Indian sandstone deep relief carving of Devi, the curvaceous goddess who bestows fertility in womb and field on her devotees. I thought it would be great to show her holding the bounty of my wild yard: bananas, elephant ears, angel trumpets and seagrapes.
